Here is a video guide to How to buy a domain?
The third challenge you may face is of unavailability of a brandable domain name.
In my opinion, .com domain names are easily brandable and have a Global appeal compared to a .org or a .in domain name. Thus I’d strongly suggest going for a .com domain only.
The domain name availability is available on Godaddy’s site, or a website like leandomainsearch.com will help.
Step5: Hosting your domain
Here is a guide to hosting your domain.
There are various hosting providers in the market through whom you can get your site organized. For example, a2hosting, Hostgator, siteground, and so on each of them are good.
Still, I prefer a2hosting over the rest because of their payment functionalities.
Step6: Connecting Name Servers
1. Login to your hosting provider’s site.
2. Login to the Cpanel, search for server information.
3. You’d notice Shared IP Address, copy the IP address.
4. Login to your domain provider website.
5. Go to Manage DNS.
6. You’ll be lead to your records, paste the copied IP address in the “value” space next to “a” record.
7. To confirm the connection with your name server and hosting server. Visit dnschecker.org and type in your website name in the search box and press enter.
If the IP reflecting there matches your shared IP address used, you are set to move ahead.
Step7: Installing WordPress.
Check the video on Installing WordPress on your site.
Login to your cPanel in your hosting provider’s site, search for WordPress. Click on the link, you’ll find an option of “Install WordPress.” Choose the installation URL; I suggest selecting https://www.YourWebsiteName.com protocol. Give your website a name and mention the site description, specify your email address, and click on the install button.
Step8: Selecting Keywords for your blog.
Keywords are the terms people use to search for a similar product, content, or service. Keyword research is a crucial step that will determine the traffic and searchability of your website.
Use keyword tools such as SEMRush or Ahref to help you do the research n keywords; SEMRush and Ahrefs is a paid tool; you may also refer to free tools like Google keyword planner. Google Keyword Planner is a free tool and can be used by beginners without shelling out money.
Go ahead and staring penning down your learning.
Be a freelance blogger
Becoming a freelance blogger is easier than thought, start with a free blog site like Blogger, medium, or Linkedin.
The rule is never resorting to plagiarism; It is easy to identify article theft.
Once caught doing so, you can be penalized heavily by the blog owner. Even Google doesn’t encourage duplicate content.
Hence for your safety avoid copying from others and write original content. However, you can refer to the competition.
Do not use images for your blog post from Google.com. You might end up violating copyright law unknowingly for the used image. You can, however, download images from sites like pexel.com or canva.com for your blog.
Anything which you do in your life requires consistency, dedication, and sacrifice, Starting your blog is no different. Do not give up and keep writing; the only objective you should be having is to add value to your readers. To summarise the steps involved
